New Milford CT Weather: Air Quality Forecast for Wednesday is Moderate
The National Weather Service issued an Air Quality Alert for nearby Fairfield County, but in New Milford conditions will be moderate.
NEW MILFORD, CT — The National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Alert for the Brookfield area in Wednesday, however in New Milford conditions are expected to be moderately unhealthy for sensitive groups which includes babies, the elderly, those with allergies and asthma and anyone with a compromised immune system.
The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency's Air Quality Index for rating air quality is based on the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). New Milford's rating for Wednesday is 52.
