Patricia D. Nagle, 68, Passed Away
Patricia Djakovich Nagle, 68, of Danbury, wife of James R. Nagle, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016.
DANBURY, CT — Patricia F. (Djakovich) Nagle died on Sunday September 4th at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Millsboro Delaware on August 31, 1948. Pat was the Daughter of Fayetta Djakovich and the late Peter Djakovich of Millsboro, DE.
Pat graduated from the University of Delaware and pursued a career in Human Resources. She worked for the University of Delaware, First Pennsylvania Bank, was a Vice President of Human Resources for Gannett Westchester Rockland Newspapers and Human Resources Director for the Waterbury Republican American.
Pat loved the beach, hiking, birdwatching and enjoyed being outdoors. She delighted in horseback riding and was an accomplished gardener and a talented cook.
She is survived by her husband Jim, who resides in Danbury Connecticut., her mother Fayetta, nephew Michael Djakovich and niece Dawn Hudson and Dawn’s children, Abigail and Ella, all of whom reside in Sussex County Delaware.

Pat and Jim wed on January 9th 1971 and enjoyed a wonderful, loving marriage. Pat was a Christian. Her strong faith in the Lord and the wonderful support she received from the Cancer Support Group of Walnut Hill Community Church provided strength and comfort in her in fight with breast cancer.
A Service will be held to celebrate Pat’s life on October 8th at 10:30AM at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Rd, Bethel CT 06801.
In lieu of Flowers, Contributions can be made to: “Cancer Support Group, Walnut Hill Community Church” at the above address. Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Avenue, Danbury, CT., is in charge of the arrangements.
