Calling hours for the Danbury man will take place on Friday, Sept. 2, at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
DANBURY, CT — Seth Park Corso, 45, of Danbury, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 at Danbury Hospital. Seth was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Levittown, N.Y. Always out for adventure, as a young man he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was for a time stationed in his birth country. After leaving the armed forces, Seth studied computer science at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury. He became an IT specialist, putting his expertise to work for the Save the Children Federation, IBM and Duracell before joining Danbury-based Praxair in 2010.
Known for his humor and warmth, Seth was a caring father, husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He was also a big kid who could often be found roasting marshmallows, building sandcastles and generally clowning around with his daughter and her friends. On summer weekends he would pilot his boat around Candlewood Lake, usually with a friend or loved one literally in tow.
Seth adored his daughter, Larissa, who says he was the best father she could ever have. He was fun, he was her best friend, he was everything to her. In addition to his daughter, Seth is survived by his wife, Lara Fieschi-Corso, and his mother, Jeanne Corso, both of Danbury; his sister, Staci Edgerton, of New Fairfield; and many friends and relatives who will miss him dearly.
