$64K in Signed Albums Stolen From Collector
Album covers from Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and the Rolling Stones were among the 21 taken.

Some $64,500 in signed album covers were reported stolen Thursday by a Libby Lane resident.
The owner told Darien police that items were packed into one of 225 numbered boxes of memorabilia that movers transported from the house on the weekend of Sept. 10 and 11. The man was in the process of moving cross-country, Capt. Fred Komm said.
The signed covers — 21 in all — included well-known artists such as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Van Halen, the Rolling Stones, and the Ramones.

The items were appraised by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame curator Craig Inciardi, the owner told police, and were all insured.
Komm said the matter remains under investigation.
