ConnDOT to Repave Mansfield Ave. Starting Oct. 3

From the Connecticut Department of Transportation:

A milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 124 (Mansfield Ave.) from Route 1 (Post Rd.) to the New Canaan Town Line in Darien. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 3, and continue through Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
