Darien Commons Begins Leasing First Batch Of Residential Homes

Twenty-five of the mixed-use complex's 122 apartments are now available for lease, with move-ins beginning this summer.

DARIEN, CT — The first set of residential homes at Darien Commons are now available to rent, officials have announced.

The development has released 25 of its 122 luxury apartments for lease, and they're slated for move-ins beginning this summer, Federal Realty Investment Trust said.

One- and two-bedroom homes are available, officials said, and they have quartz kitchen countertops, GE appliances, walk-in closets and in-home washers and dryers.

The complex itself offers a courtyard, a fireside lounge, a communal dining area and an on-site gym.

"The homes here at Darien Commons answer a pent-up demand for high-quality, new construction rentals with convenient regional access," said Patrick McMahon, Federal Realty Investment Trust's senior vice president of regional development. "The combination of thoughtful design with a variety of dining, services and experiences on the ground-level will appeal to existing Darienites and those looking to move to this charming seaside town."
