Darien To Hold Public Workshop On 2026 Plan Of Conservation And Development

The session is designed to gather input on goals and priorities for the next Plan of Conservation and Development.

DARIEN, CT — Darien residents, business owners and community members are invited to take part in a workshop on the town’s 2026 Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) on Thursday, Sept. 4.

The event will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mather Center, 2 Renshaw Road, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

The session is designed to gather input on goals and priorities for the upcoming POCD, drawing on the 2016 plan and results from a recent town-wide survey.

The workshop will include exhibits, small group discussions, and opportunities for participants to speak with consultants and staff from the Planning and Zoning Department.
