Darien Issues Platform Access Update At Train Station
"We appreciate your cooperation and are very sorry for the inconvenience," the town said.
DARIEN, CT — The Town of Darien announced this week that access to the southbound (NY bound) platform from the Leroy East Parking Lot staircase will be closed as of Jan. 5.
"You will be able to access the newly opened platforms at the Darien RR Station Building by walking through the town owned Koons Parking Lot," the town noted. "There is a staircase located at the east end of the parking lot for you to use."
Travelers are being asked to leave additional time to access the train from the new platforms.
