  • A new term begins: The newly-elected Board of Selectmen (7:45 p.m., room 206) and Representative Town Meeting (8:00 p.m., Town Hall auditorium) will hold their first sessions tonight. Both bodies' agendas are mostly limited to organizational matters.
  • Espresso Book Machine: The  will offer a sneak peak of its new Espresso Book Machine today at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. before officially launching tomorrow. The machine is able to print copies of books that aren't available from the library in a matter of minutes.
  • Linda George paintings: From now until Nov. 9, by Linda George will be on display in the library's Art Gallery.
  • Fashion Transformed: From now until Jan. 27, the y hosts ." The exhibit features 17 costumes from the era. The center is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
