Darien Nature Center Announces Details For Major Fundraiser

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Nature Center will host its eighth annual Fireside fundraiser on Oct. 11, offering an evening of food, drinks and games to support the center’s environmental and educational work.

The event serves as the organization’s primary fundraiser, with proceeds helping to sustain its programs and operations.

Funds raised support the care of 22 resident animal species, the development of nature-based programming for all ages, and the integration of climate change and sustainability curriculum into local schools.

The event also supports outreach to underserved communities and ongoing maintenance of the nature center’s building, which remains free and open to the public.
