Darien, New Canaan Turkey Bowl 2024: Here's What To Know
The annual Turkey Bowl game between the two rivals is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day at 10 a.m.
DARIEN, CT — The Darien Blue Wave and New Canaan Rams are gearing up for the annual Turkey Bowl on Thanksgiving Day.

This year's Turkey Bowl is scheduled to kick-off at 10 a.m. on Nov. 28 from Darien High School.
Both Darien and New Canaan are 8-1 on the season going into the game, which is typically the regular season finale, and both teams are coming off impressive blowout victories.

The Blue Wave defeated Fairfield Warde High School 49-7 on Nov. 15, and the Rams beat Bridgeport Central High School 42-6.

Parking
According to DHS Athletic Director Chris Manfredonia, tickets are all but sold out to this year's big game.
Parking on the DHS campus, including the Methodist Church as well as on High School Lane and Nutmeg Lane, will only be permitted with a school issued parking pass.
All others can park at Middlesex Middle School, St. Thomas More Church, or Noroton Train Station (outbound side or Post 53 side).
Shuttle buses will be provided to and from MMS and the train station. Carpooling is encouraged.
Additionally, no tailgating will be permitted on the premises.

The Rivalry
While the tradition of playing each other on Thanksgiving goes back to 1994, the rivalry between Darien and New Canaan football stretches all the way back to 1928.
Of the 98 games played between the two schools over the years, New Canaan holds the advantage with an all-time record of 57-39-2.
The Rams have won six straight Turkey Bowl matchups since 2017.
