Darien Police Arrest 12 Teens
The group was allegedly partying in an empty home up for sale.

According to police, authorities received a complaint at approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, that vehicles with loud mufflers were racing up and down Three Wells Lane.
Upon arrival, officers said they observed several vehicles in the driveway of a residence, including one that matched the description of the one of the vehicles possibly involved.
Police said as they approached the residence, they could observe individuals running around inside the house and others exiting the home and running into a wooded area. A ladder was also observed placed in the area of a second floor balcony, police said.

Three of the alleged participants were arrested after they were found hiding in the woods. The remainder were found hiding in the basement area of the home. Police additionally allegedly discovered two 30 packs of Natural Light beer in the basement, they said.

Police said all members arrested were cooperative and admitted to attending a party at the residence. None present had authority to be in the home, police said. Police also said all those charged with possession of alcohol by a minor allegedly admitted to consuming alcohol or failed a breathalyzer.
Each of the following received a misdemeanor summons and was released on a Written Promise To Appear, with a court date scheduled of December 24, 2012:
- Jordan Irizarry, 18, 15 Patton Drive, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- Kristin Amato, 18, 28 Crossbridge Circle, Marlborough, CT, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- Robert Berisha, 18, 5 Moore Street, charged with second-degree criminal trespass and possession of alcohol by a minor.
- Jesse Boardman, 18, 12 Ettle Lane Greenwich, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- Giles Bonner, 18, 3 Pritchard Lane, Westport, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- Jeffery Higbee, 19, 7 Reynolds Place, Greenwich, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- Malcolm Kiplinger, 18, 7 Old Stone Road, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- Kyle Mangan, 18, 4 Nickerson Lane, charged with second-degree criminal trespass and possession of alcohol by a minor.
- James Reed, 18, 1 Waring Lane, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- John Romano, 19, Lyndhurst, NY, charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
- Christian Watson, 18, 15 Patton Drive, charged with second-degree criminal trespass and possession of alcohol by a minor.
