Green & Tonic Opens New Location In Darien

This represents Green & Tonic's fourth CT location. The brand originally began in Darien in 2012.

DARIEN, CT — Green & Tonic, the plant-based eatery with roots in Darien, has opened up a new location in town within the new Corbin District.

This represents the brand's fourth Connecticut location, and there are three more storefronts planned for Fairfield County in 2024 in Old Greenwich, Glenville and Stamford, according to the company's website. It's unclear when those locations will open.

Green & Tonic was established in Darien in 2012 on Boston Post Road. They closed in February 2023 to prepare for their move to the Corbin District development.

"We are very excited to re-open in Darien in the new Corbin District. Darien was the original Green & Tonic and we’re thrilled that our full menu is available along with extended hours," Green & Tonic CEO Fausto Mieres told Patch via email.

"We look forward to servicing the community for many years to come, and we are grateful for the loyalty that our customers have shown us throughout the years," Mieres added. "To save time, customers can order ahead at the greenandtonic.com website and either pick-up in store or have it delivered to your door."

Customers can build their own acai bowls, smoothie bowls and superfood smoothies.

There are plenty of healthy breakfast options, like avocado toast and a quinoa bowl, healthy wraps, hot items like a veggie burger or grilled cheese, salads, soups, snacks, and grab-and-go meals.

Green & Tonic also offers meal plans, cleanses and catering services. There are also stores in Chappaqua, N.Y., Cos Cob, New Canaan, Rye Brook, N.Y., and Westport.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages and juices. Green & Tonic will celebrate National Coffee Break Day on Jan. 20.

Beginning on that date, customers will have a chance to win free coffee for a year and an overnight getaway at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor in honor of the holiday.

Green & Tonic is offering one golden prize and six silver prizes across its six locations. A gold sticker and six green stickers will be hidden on the bottoms of Supr Brew Coffee, latte and tea cups.

The grand prize winner who finds a golden sticker on the bottom of their cup will win free Supr Brew Coffee for a year at any Green & Tonic location as well as an overnight getaway at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor.

In addition, six other winners who find green stickers at the bottom of their cups will be awarded free Supr Brew Coffee for a year.

Green & Tonic developed Supr Brew in partnership with Dr. Bob Arnot, an internal medicine doctor and author of "The Coffee Lover’s Bible," and a former chief medical correspondent for NBC and CBS News.

The coffee is distinguished by its high polyphenol properties, where the beans are grown and how it is roasted. The coffee is more nutritious, better testing and is sustaiably harvested.

"We’re excited to offer the chance to enjoy this amazing coffee free for a year, and we’re thrilled to team up with the Delamar Greenwich Harbor to offer a luxurious escape for one lucky grand prize winner," Mieres said recently in a news release.

The contest runs until National Latte Day on Feb. 11.

No purchase is necessary to win. Participants can also enter the contest by submitting a video on social media explaining why they love Supr Brew and tagging Green & Tonic.
