She worked as an Administrative Assistant for various companies in Stamford, CT and was an excellent car saleswoman in following years. As she raised her family, she found her way into home care, becoming a member of every family she worked for. In most recent years she excelled in her career as a home improvement sales representative. She worked throughout the Connecticut region for NewPro, becoming one of the top sellers in the tristate area.

Annie was a mother first, she showed true dedication to her children throughout her life. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader, spent years as class mom, and volunteered as a ‘Band Mom’ for the Norwalk High School Marching Band. She was a kind soul who helped in any way she could.

Annie loved warm weather, sunning at the beach or pool, and taking her predeceased dog Rocky for walks. She was the life of the party and brought so much joy to her friends and family. Annie was an avid fashionista who loved to be glamorous any chance she could. You could often find her dancing her way across the floor or in her car sitting in traffic. She loved to sing karaoke and made up many of her own songs around the house to the amusement of her family. Annie’s laugh and sense of humor were infectious. She loved to be called ‘Annie Bannanie’ and was able to find a way to be silly in all situations.

Annie is survived by her beloved partner of many years and caretaker in sickness, John Anderson of Stratford, CT; her daughters Katharine McGee Billano (Ryan) of Chicago, IL; Ellen Cervone (Thomas Jr.) of Watkinsville, GA, her son Leonardo Bonanno of Norwalk, CT, her “bonus” son Jeremy Sanford (Alyssa) of Wallingford, CT; her sister Carrie Yurof (Lawrence) of Dennis, Massachusetts; her brother in law John Muldoon of Milford, CT, all of whom forged together as ‘Team Annie’, surrounding her in love and care during her battle with cancer. She is also survived by her four beloved grandchildren from her daughter Ellen; Corbin, Thomas III, Robert, and Harlow Cervone of Watkinsville, GA. Annie was predeceased by her parents Robert Courtney McGee and Carol Dawn McGee as well as her younger sister Elizabeth (Lizzie) McGee Muldoon.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring near Annie’s birthday.
