Nearly 14,000 Calls For Service Made To Darien Police In 2025, Year-End Data Shows

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department responded to 13,989 calls for service in 2025, according to a year-end data snapshot released by the department last week.

Police provided the data to the volume and variety of situations officers respond to year-round.

• Forgery/counterfeiting: 12
• Domestic disturbance: 53
• Domestic violence: 27
• Aided police calls: 1,471
• False burglar alarm: 674
• Dog complaints: 136
• Child car seats installed: 62
