Man Who Killed Brother, Self Was Expelled from Family Business

Police located multiple weapons in the suspect's car, including a pistol, assault rifle and ammunition.

The Woodbridge man who shot and killed his brother Monday morning in the parking lot of their family-owned New Haven business was reportedly ousted from the company following a quarrel, according to a report in the Westport News.

Daniel Shwisha reportedly , and then drove to his parents' house on Rustilc Lane in Westport, where he shot and killed himself, according to Westport police.

New Haven police officers were , for reported gunfire. Officers discovered the company's owner Gordon Shwisha sitting inside his Jeep near the building, police said. Daniel Shwisha reportedly shot his brother multiple times while he sat in the Jeep, police said.

According to Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, Gordon Shwisha left behind his wife and son.
