Oh, No: Where, Oh Where Did that Package Go?

A woman, 75, on Harbor Road, was waiting for a Federal Express employee to come on Wednesday and pick up the package she was shipping.

The FedEx employee was supposed to be at the house sometime between noon and 3 p.m. At some point within that time period, a man did arrive at her doorstep.

She handed off the package, which contained a VCR/DVD player valued at $300 as well as some personal tax information in a manila envelope.

The man accepted the package and left.

And you know what happened next: The Fedex employee arrived at her doorstep at about 1:30 p.m. One assumes confusion was followed by dismay.

The man she gave the package to is described as a tall (6 feet in height), thin, light-skinned black man wearing a gray overcoat. Last seen carrying a package away from a Harbor Road home.

He was not seen wearing a FedEx uniform (examples of which can be seen in the picture accompanying this article.
