Two Arrested In Connection With Hillcrest Burglary

The pair was pulled over in a Volkswagen Jetta after a resident notified police of a "suspicious male" running down Hillcrest Ave.

Update, 4:33 p.m.: Sgt. Jeremiah Marron said it was unclear whether Tuesday's burglary was related to a string of unlocked cars that were rummaged through early Monday morning.

"It's difficult to determine at this point," Marron said. "At this point that's still under investigation."

Marron added that further break-ins of unlocked vehicles had been reported since the initial discovery.
