Police to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint on Post Road This Saturday

Darien Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on the Post Road near Exit 13 on Saturday (or on the Post Road near Ledge Road if the weather isn’t good enough).

Police did not give a time, but the checkpoints are generally conducted in the evening and well past midnight into the next day.

Here’s the announcement from Darien Police Department:

The Darien Police Department in conjunction with Stamford Police Department will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on the night of [Saturday] Feb. 21 in the area of Post Road and Richmond Drive. In the event of inclimate weather the checkpoint will be located at an alternate Location of Post Rd by Ledge Rd.
