Julie Cook Chamberlin, 78, died Oct. 21, 2025; she co-owned a wallpaper hanging business, later worked as a preschool teacher known as “Miss Julie,” and enjoyed volunteering, humor, and time with her family.
David Andrew Dever, 83, died Oct. 8, 2025; a television and motion picture engineer who served as vice president of sales at Quantel and helped found Darien TV79, he was an avid tinkerer, sailor, and longtime member of the Darien Boat Club who loved restoring machinery and spending time in Maine.

Michael Robert “Tay Tay” Taylor, 57, died Oct. 8, 2025; a yacht sales professional, private captain, and owner of Yacht Butler Services who later became sales director of DeYulio’s Sausage Company, he was an avid boater, golfer, Eagle Scout, and Grateful Dead fan who loved the ocean and time spent with family.
Dolores L. Vollenweider, 95, died Oct. 7, 2025; a homemaker and longtime alto in the Noroton Presbyterian Church Choir, she enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling, painting, and playing piano.

Robert Beachem Kling, 94, died Sept. 16, 2025; a Navy lieutenant and intelligence officer who later earned an MBA from Columbia, he built a career in finance with International Paper Company and Franklin Templeton Investments.
