Skin Studio Aesthetics & Wellness Opens In Darien

DARIEN, CT — Darien recently welcomed a new business to town, Skin Studio Aesthetics & Wellness, which opened up at 972 Post Road above The Goose.

Officials, including First Selectman Jon Zagrodzky and several members of the the Darien Chamber of Commerce Board, such as representatives from Soaring Capital, Hollow Tree Self Storage, Salt Cave of Darien, Merrill Lynch, and Proyash Capital, joined owner Emily McSeveney and staff for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The business provides a wide range of beauty and wellness treatments, from facials and filler injections, to laser hair removal and microneedling, among several other services.

Along with being the owner, McSeveney is the lead injector and skincare specialist. According to the business's website, she's a board-certified nurse practitioner with over seven years of experience in aesthetics.

McSeveney trained and worked in New York City before moving to Connecticut.

"She believes the best treatments are the ones no one knows you have had. She describes her techniques as subtle yet impactful, and she's known by her clients for having a gentle touch," the business website says. "Emily's goal is to make aesthetics accessible to everyone and to create an environment where her clients feel comfortable and confident."

Darien Chamber Executive Director Kesti Aysseh said the town is "thrilled" to introduce Skin Studio to the community.

"Their commitment to enhancing beauty and wellness aligns perfectly with our town's dedication to supporting vibrant local businesses," Aysseh said.
