2023 Durham Fair Musical Headliner Revealed

DURHAM, CT — The musical headliner for the 103rd annual Durham Fair will be Rick Springfield who will be performing on the main stage on Saturday, Sept. 23, officials said.

The Durham Fair will be held on Sept. 21-24 at 24 Town House Road. The fair began in 1916 and is held on the last full weekend in September, when "the fairgrounds come alive and magically transform into Connecticut’s largest agricultural fair," according to its website.

The Durham Fair brings people from all across the state and nearby states to the town as they enjoy "Live entertainment, rides and games on the Midway, first-class animal competitions and discovery events on the Corn Stalk Stage. In a Facebook post, the Durham Fair shared, "We are excited to announce that the one and only Rick Springfield will be performing on the Main Stage on Saturday, September 23! With over four decades in the entertainment industry, Rick Springfield has accomplished so much as a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician. He has sold over 25 million albums and scored an incredible 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including "Jessie's Girl," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "An Affair of the Heart," "I've Done Everything for You," "Love Somebody," and "Human Touch."
