Dueling Pianists Back to Entertain at 6th Annual “Open Your Heart” Benefit for St. Vincent de Paul Middletown on Thursday, May 23rd at Saint Clement Castle, Portland

Middletown- Back by popular demand, St. Vincent de Paul Middletown (SVDM) will provide live, dueling pianos at their 6th annual Open Your Heart: A Tasty Celebration of Middletown Area’s Finest Cuisine! The Flying Ivories, a nationally renowned piano dueling team out of New York City will return leading sing-alongs, playing requests and entertaining guests throughout the evening. All tips from the audience will benefit the people served through SVDM’s soup kitchen, food pantry and housing programs. In fact, all proceeds from the gala go straight to the mission; the food, beverages and high-end raffle baskets are donated to the event.

“Open Your Heart” takes place on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Saint Clements Castle, 1931 Portland-Cobalt Rd, Portland, CT. Tickets ($99) available at OpenYourHeart2024.eventbrite.com include food, drink, dueling pianos and dance floor lights.

Guests can sample appetizers, entrees and desserts from over 20 of the area's top restaurants and caterers including Brewbakers, Café Luna, Café Fiore-Cromwell, Cantina Café, Connecticut Wedding Group, Esca, Farrell’s, Fiore II Middletown, Harries, It’s Only Natural, LaBoca Mexican Restaurant and Cantina, Lyman Orchards, Mondo, Perk on Main, Portland Ale House, Red Fox, Salsas Three, Sicily, The Cooking Company, The Pub at PGC and Vero Cucina Rustica. There will also be fine wine and craft beer from CT Beverage Mart, and 20 high-end basket raffles with a $300-$1,000 value.
