Bracing for a Nor'easter: Winter Storm to Arrive in Connecticut Wednesday
A large but yet unpredictable winter storm is expected to arrive in Connecticut Wednesday morning, bringing with it rain, snow and high winds.

A nor'easter developing along the mid-Atlantic is forecast to hit the Connecticut area Wednesday morning, but exactly how bad it will be is still up in the air.
With the storm expected to intensify as it slowly tracks east, the National Weather Service today issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Northern Connecticut.

"Heavy snow may impact parts of Southern New England," the weather service said. "However, uncertainty remains high on snowfall amounts and location of rain-snow line. Snowfall may be heavy and wet, possibly resulting in power outages."
Forecasters are predicting anywhere from 2-4 inches of snow in Durham and Middlefield, with most accumulation taking place early Thursday morning.

Wind gusts reaching 60 mph are likely along the shoreline, along with coastal flooding.
Looking ahead to the weekend, things appear to clear up just in time for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
