• Critter Capture: When CT's Big Animals Get Loose, A Durham Team Responds (patch.com) — A Durham-based animal response team is on call across Connecticut when large animals like pigs, goats, cattle, and horses get loose, including recent rescues involving Durham town crew members. The volunteer-run DART group uses specialized equipment, trail cameras, and portable corrals to safely capture or free animals, helping protect both motorists and livestock while returning most animals to their owners unharmed.
