Car Burglaries Hit Durham
The town is cautioning residents to make sure their doors are locked.

Just days after a car break-in was reported in Middlefield, a string of similar burglaries have hit Durham.
In a public notice sent to town residents, First Selectman Laura Francis said there have been multiple burglaries from cars in the areas of Wheeler Hill Road, Maiden Lane, Burton Ridge and Wildwood Lane.
Officials did not specify what was stolen from the vehicles.
Francis advised that residents lock their doors and not store valuables in their cars such as wallets, purses and electronics.
If you see anything suspicious, you should call the Connecticut State Police at 860 399-2100.
