DURHAM, CT — The town has announced that Cherry Lane will remained closed until Monday, Feb. 10, due to an overhanging tree. Due to the size and location of the tree, and the threat of the wind storm, Eversource crews are unable to remove the tree, officials said on Friday afternoon. Residents up to 230 Cherry Lane can access their homes via Higganum Road only. Residents after 235 Cherry Lane can access their homes via Old Blue Hills Road. Residents are advised to call 860-349-9953 with any questions.
