2 People Found Dead In Middlefield Residence

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — State police are investigating two untimely deaths at a residence in Middlefield.

No foul play is suspected, police said Tuesday evening.

Troopers spent hours at the residence on Peters Lane Tuesday afternoon, and had cleared the scene by 5:30 p.m.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has removed the victims’ bodies.

The next of kin of one of the individuals has not been notified, police said at 5:30 p.m.

Police are not releasing the names of the victims until families have all been notified.
