1. What's the Weather? By now, you know a major snowstorm is headed our way. The storm is expected to dump upwards of two feet of snow in Durham and Middlefield and wind gusts could reach 70 mph, creating blizzard conditions.

2. "We Love You, Charlie" On Thursday night, Coginchaug fans remembered longtime Durham resident Charlie Larsen, who passed away this week. The crowd wore red ribbons in his honor and Charlie, a familiar face around the school and community, was remembered this way:

"We wear these ribbons this evening in honor of Charlie Larsen, a musician, a role model, a leader, and a friend. Charlie's infectious smile and vibrant personality taught us that we are only defined by what we chose to believe. Charlie spent years cheering for Coginchaug's sports teams and was a true exemplar of the spirit of Coginchaug and the towns of Durham and Middlefield. His character will always be a reminder that the only disability in life is a bad attitude. We love you, Charlie. God bless you."
