Durham and Middlefield Police Logs: Aug. 29-Sept. 1

The following information was provided by Connecticut State Police and local police departments. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

DURHAM — Police responded to the home of Joanna Sergi, 50, and Mark Sergi, 61, both of 181 David Road, on Aug. 31. According to the police report, Mark Sergi was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call and Joanna Sergi was charged with a breach of peace. Neither were injured. He was held on a $2,500 surety bond and she was held on a $500 non-surety bond. Both were due in Middlesex Superior Court on Sept. 3.


CHESTER — Robert T. Ryan, 50, of 224 Madison Road in Durham, was charged with operating under suspension and a misuse of plates following a traffic stop on Route 9 in Chester on Sept. 1. Ryan was held on a $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Sept. 3.

MIDDLEFIELD — Jeffery Fagan, 30, 7 Trolley Crossing Lane, Middletown, was involved in a one-car accident on Aug. 30. According to police, Fagan was driving west on Cider Mill Road when his 1997 Jeep Cherokee went off the highway on the left side and struck a tree roughly 1/10th of a mile east of the intersection with Main Street. The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Fagan was airlifted via a LifeStar Helicopter to Hartford Hospital due to the mechanism of the injury. He told police he did not have any recollection of the crash. There was no further information on his condition in the police report.
