Durham Man, 24, Killed in Car Crash in Tolland
Funeral services were held Saturday for the late Gabriel Miller.
Family and friends remembered this past weekend Gabriel N. Miller, a 24-year-old Durham resident who was killed last week in a car accident on I-84 in Tolland.
Miller's funeral was held on Saturday, Nov. 23, Victory Tabernacle Church in Middlefield. He is survived by his parents and two brothers.
According to police, just before 9 a.m. on Nov. 19 Miller was traveling eastbound on I-84 when his car exited the roadway, went up an embankment, flipped into the air and jumped the concrete barrier dividing the two sides of the highway.
The car then hit two vehicles on the westbound side, including a tractor-trailer, state police said.
The incident happened near Exit 68 in Tolland. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.
