The family of a man who died last week at a Middlefield construction site has set up an education fund for his daughter. Lamar Liddell, 35, of New Haven, died on Friday after falling about 12-feet from staging set up at the site at 323 Cherry Hill Road. According to Liddell's obituary, he leaves behind a wife and young daughter, as well as other family members. Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday and lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Luciana Donna Lombardi Education Fund, C/O 54 Boston Ave., New Haven, CT 06512.  The Feb. 1 accident remains under investigation.
