Francis Wasylink Obituary
Francis Carl Wasylink, age 77, beloved husband to Suzanne (Ryan) Wasylink of Milford, entered peaceful rest on September 25, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1947 in West Leechburg, PA and was the son of the late Walter and Caroline (Belon) Wasylink. This past July Frank and Suzanne celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Frank began his career as a mason which brought him to CT, where he met his devoted wife and continued his career as the owner and operator of Frank Wasylink General Contractor for many years. He was a life member of the New Haven Raccoon Club and the Northwest Conn Rod and Gun Club. He was very proud to be the Chief Instructor for the hunter and firearm safety classes with the CT Conservation Education and Firearm Safety and was often called to assist animals in distress. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening. In addition to his devoted wife, Frank leaves his four children, Frank Wasylink of Milford, Christine List (Tom) of Orange, Jeneffer Sweedler of Milford, and Amie Rice of Milford, seven grandchildren, Amanda List, Cassie Satterlee (Nathaniel), Jordan List, Kennedy List, Mackenzie Rice, Maddie Sweedler and Zack Sweedler and his great grandson, Nathaniel Satterlee. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Walter Wasylink, Jr. and Franklin “Del” Wasylink. Family and friends may call on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Make A Wish Foundation or to Give Kids the World.
