Francis for Governor? WFSB's Dennis House Poses the Question
In his March 1 blog on The Hartfordite, WFSB anchor and Face The State host Dennis House includes Durham First Selectman Laura Francis in a poll of women who readers would most like to see run for governor in 2014.

"Connecticut has a reputation as being a groundbreaking state for women," House writes.

The blog is even more interesting because included in a poll asking readers which Republican women they'd like to see run for governor in 2014 is Durham First Selectman Laura Francis.
By Monday morning, Francis was neck-and-neck with former Gov. Jodi Rell with about 5-percent of the vote.
