Coginchaug led most of the way on Friday night but struggled down the stretch against Notre Dame-Fairfield in a season ending 49-39 loss. The Blue Devils were ahead 34-28 in the fourth quarter but could not overcome 4-22 free throw shooting in the second round Class M tournament game in Fairfield. Morgan Kuehnle and Olivia Corazzini both scored 8 points for Coginchaug, while senior Jessica Solomon added 7 points in her final game for the Blue Devils.
