Kennedy Endorses Cohen for his 12th Senate District Seat

Ted Kennedy Jr. endorses Christine Cohen for his seat; Adam Greenberg was the GOP's choice at this past Monday's nominating convention.

GUILFORD - Ted Kennedy, Jr., has endorsed fellow Democrat Christine Hunter Cohen, for the 12th Senate seat that Kennedy announced earlier this year he won’t be running for again.

“I’ve known Christine in her capacity as a member of Guilford’s Board of Education for several years now,” Kennedy said. “She is tenacious and innovative, qualities that will serve her well in Connecticut’s legislature. Her commitment to our schools, our environment and our communities is unwavering. I am proud to support her campaign for senate.”

In response to Kennedy’s endorsement, Cohen said, “I am proud to have Senator Kennedy’s confidence and support. I intend to work with him closely throughout the campaign to ensure that voices are heard and the needs of our constituents are met. He has served our district well for many years and I hope that I can continue his legacy of stalwartness for our towns.”
