Middlefield Bar Has Liquor License Temporarily Suspended
The bar will have its license suspended and pay a fine due to violations alleged by the state.
MIDDLEFIELD, CT — A Middlefield bar paid a fine and had its liquor license temporarily suspended due to violations, according to the state's Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.
Rovers Lodge at 225 Baileyville Road paid a $1,000 fine and will have its liquor license suspended Aug. 18 and 19.
The suspension "resolves issues concerning" alleged violations of the following regulations: conduct of permit premises-permittee strictly accountable, conduct of permit premises - age statement forms, sale/delivery to minor, and loitering on public premises.
