The Lucas 2 is a device that gives constant quality compressions during CPR.

This past month, the Middlefield Volunteer Fire Company put a new piece of life-saving equipment into service. Shown in the below video is the Lucas 2, a device that gives constant quality compressions during CPR.
“This device is very beneficial to patients, minimizing the hands off time for CPR when patients need to be moved, and allows responders to move the patient safely without having a negative impact on patient care,” the fire department said via Facebook.
The device secures to the patient allowing CPR to be continued even when moving a patient down stairs.
