Middlefield Police Holding Drug Take Back on Saturday

Residents from both Middlefield and Durham are welcome to drop off any unwanted medications.

If you have any medications lying around and you want to get rid of them, then your chance to do that is Saturday.

The federal Drug Enforcement Agency is holding "Drug Take Back" initiative on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Middlefield Resident Trooper's Office, located at 405 Main St.

The collection is for Durham and Middlefield residents.

The drugs need to be left in their original container (if they have it) but cross out the patient' name, police said.

Middlefield Resident Trooper Eric Kelly provided the above information.
