MIDDLEFIELD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Michael "Mike" Patrick Farrell of Middlefield, loving husband of JoAnn (Panico) Farrell, died peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
Born in New Haven on December 18, 1964, son of Thomas John Farrell and the late Jo-Ann (Cicio) Farrell of East Haven. Mike was employed by Cigna Healthcare for the last 11 years as a Senior Market Insight Specialist. However, Mike’s favorite job was being a father. Growing up, Mike was a Cub Scout, active in CYO (Catholic Youth Organization), and played baseball and basketball in East Haven. One of Mike’s favorite memories was managing ‘Sweet Revenge,’ a local band made up of his best friends. Mike stayed active by playing volleyball, working out at The Edge, and running. He recently ran the Hartford Half Marathon for the Girl Scouts of Connecticut and completed a Spartan Race.
