Parakeet Missing on Main Street in Durham

A family in Durham is searching for a gray parakeet that went missing Wednesday morning and may be in the Main Street area.

Here are excerpts from the Durham-Middlefield Board posting:

Our precious gray parakeet flew out of the cage when the bottom fell off the cage in the garden. This happened on Wednesday morning at 73 Main Street in Durham.

He might join a bunch of sparrows and be found at your feeder. He is beautiful, soft gray and white and slightly larger than the average parakeet. He was a rare bird and had a great relationship with the other birds in the cage.
