Police ID 2 Found Dead In Middlefield Residence
The victims were discovered Tuesday in a house on Peters Lane, state police said.
MIDDLEFIELD, CT — Police on Wednesday identified the two individuals who were found dead Tuesday in a local residence.
The victims include Jean Amiot, 74, and Anna Amiot, 69, both of the Rockfall section of Middlefield.
They own a house at 88 Peters Lane, town records show.

An investigation into the pair’s untimely deaths is ongoing, state police said.
Police have said they do not suspect foul play.

Troopers were summoned to the residence on Peters Lane around 11:44 a.m. Tuesday.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Wednesday both deaths have been ruled as suicides.
