27-Year-Old Man's Body Pulled From Waters In Durham: UPDATE

The drowning was reported at Millers Pond State Park.

DURHAM, CT — A 27-year-old man's body was pulled from the water at Millers Pond State Park Saturday, NBC Connecticut reports. The call for the possible drowning at Millers Pond State Park came in at 2 p.m.

The man was from New Britain, WTNH News 8 reports. A witness told News that she was in a group with the victim and that someone tried to rescue him by "throw(ing) him a life raft. He couldn't hold on. That's when he let go."
