Powder Ridge Park & Resort Announces 2021 Mountain Music Series

Powder Ridge built an outdoor amphitheater with up to 2,500-person capacity. The theater will be the location for a yearly Mountain Music Series which will run from June through September.

This year we kick off the series with Melvin Seals& JGB on July 28th. Melvin Seals has been a powerful presence in the music industry for more than 30 years. He is most revered for his powerful, high-spirited, Hammond B-3 and keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band. Melvin spun his B-3 magic with the Jerry Garcia Band for 18 years and in doing so helped pioneer and define what has now become “Jam Band Music.”

CEO Sean Hayes said, "Powder Ridge has a long-standing history hosting music festivals, including the largest festival that never happened in 1970."

This Summer the music series lineup will include nationally recognized bands from around the US. The broad range of performances will encompass everything from rock and American indie folk to blues and funk.
