Reports: Middlefield's Boyle Weighs College Options
Xavier star quarterback Tim Boyle, who committed last year to play at Boston College this fall, visited UConn on Wednesday for an "unofficial" visit, according to Hartford Courant sports writer Desmond Conner.

Hartford Courant sports writer Desmond Conner writes that Xavier quarterback Tim Boyle visited the University of Connecticut on Wednesday for an "unofficial" visit.
Last year, Boyle, who lives in Middlefield, committed to play quarterback for Boston College. He later went on to lead Xavier to the team's third straight state championship.

But Conner reports that Boyle is keeping his options open and eyeing the NFL as his ultimate goal.
"There are a lot of guys who feel he has the ability and the potential to take the next step after college, provided he's in the right system," Marinan told Conner. "And I think he knows that. And you know — you're not going to get there if you don't play."
