Rockfall Foundation's Grant Workshop Tonight

The Rockfall Foundation will kick off the 40^th anniversary of its grants program with an informal GrantInformation Workshop tonight. The goals of the grants program are to preserve and enhance the environment in Middlesex County and to increase public knowledge of, and respect for, its natural resources.

The following local organizations have benefitted from Rockfall Foundation grants:

Memorial Middle School

Everyone Outside

Durham Middlefield Youth & Family Services

Independent Day School

Representatives of nonprofit organizations, towns, and schools who seek support for environmental education, conservation and planning projects are encouraged to attend the Workshop, which will be held from 5-6 p.m. at the deKoven House Community Center, 27 Washington Street, Middletown.

The deadline for receipt of completed applications is November 9, 2012 and awards will be announced in mid-February, 2013.
