Connecticut State Police have organized a series of roving patrols and sobriety checkpoints during the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

State Police have launched Operation S.A.N.T.A., their annual holiday traffic enforcement that targets drunk drivers, distracted drivers and aggressive motorists.
“Our state troopers will be working to save lives and keep all of our roads and highways safe," said Department of Emergency Services & Public Protection Commissioner Reuben F. Bradford.
