The Xavier Falcons (11-1) will play the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (12-0) for the Class LL football state championship tonight at Rentschler field in East Hartford. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m.
Xavier, led by quarterback co-captain Tim Boyle of Middlefield, has defeated Greenwich (55-14) and Glastonbury (30-13) so far in the 2012 playoffs to earn a shot at the team's third straight state title.
