Nobody has ever figured out who killed Blase Miserendino, a 34-year-old man from East Haven who was murdered in Milford, but police received a tip about the murder in March.

It has been 35 years, one year longer than he was alive, and still police have not figured out who killed Blase Miserendino.

Miserendino, a 34-year-old East Haven resident, was reported missing on Jan. 25, 1978 by his wife. Five days later, his body was found in a van parked at the Connecticut Post Center in Milford, which is now called the Westfield Connecticut Post Mall.

The New Haven Register reports that Miserendino, who was shot twice in the head, is one of six unsolved murders in Milford. However, there is hope, as police received a tip about the murder in March, according to the newspaper.
