Beloved East Haven Mom 'Is A Great Role Model,' Daughter Says

EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is a teacher at East Haven High School and also owns her own dance studio in North Branford, Center Stage Dance Academy. She does all of this while also caring for me, her youngest, and my brother Stephen. No matter what we need or when we need, it family comes first for her and it always will. My mom is the strongest woman out there and is a great role model for women to look up to.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
My mom is the strongest.
